The hydrolysis method employed at 100°C does not transform the extracted analytes; instead, they are analyzed in their accumulated state. The resulting material demonstrates significant superiority compared to traditional extraction techniques.
The extracted sample can be directly injected into LC/MS/MS—preferably after dilution. Purification can be achieved in two ways: by performing liquid-liquid extraction using Comedical’s M3 S1 and S2 solvent kit or through SPE column prior to analysis via GC/MS and/or GC/MS/MS.
The hair extraction process utilizing M3 Reagent is notable for preserving the integrity of the accumulated analytes, enabling quantitative screening tests with specialized immunometric reagents.
